Jones Bros constructed 1.1 kilometres of new 7.3m wide carriageway at Glasdir, Ruthin for the Welsh Assembly Government in a contract worth £3.5m.
The northern link road, as it was known, included several contractor-designed structures such as a bridge over the River Clwyd and culverted flood relief channels.
The new road has a footway/cycleway along the majority of its length and includes a roundabout junction to serve a future residential development.
The project also involved road drainage and associated attenuation facilities, road lighting and signing, plus diversion and provision of new statutory undertakers services.
