Civil engineering company Jones Bros has been nominated for a top award in construction industry ‘Oscars’.

The family-run firm, based in Ruthin, last been short-listed in the Construction News Awards ‘Tomorrow’s Company’ category.

Managing director Huw Jones and his daughter, commercial manager, Ruth Jones will travel to London to attend the awards ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel next month.
“We are thrilled to be nominated in the Construction News awards,” said Huw.

“As the company expands, a greater proportion of our work is being won and carried out across the UK, making Jones Bros a significant, nationwide civil engineering company.
“Attending the event will also provide us with some very valuable networking opportunities.”
The nomination follows a series of accolades recently achieved by the company.

They include awards from the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE); the Institute of Directors; the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (ROSPA) and a CEEQUAL Outstanding Achievement Award for work at Parc Cybi in Anglesey.
