Jones Bros road project features in top industry magazine11th Aug 2014

A major scheme undertaken by Jones Bros to construct an access road to a new multi-million pound Energy from Waste plant has featured in July’s edition of Highways magazine. The project, off the A41 in Buckinghamshire, involved constructing a four and a half kilometre road along a former railway track, incorporating three road bridges across it.

Engineers had to implement innovative solutions to overcome several challenges including severe weather conditions and the discovery of two high-pressure gas mains under the road leading off a roundabout being constructed by them. Despite this the project was completed successfully, ahead of schedule.
