National Apprenticeship Week, which runs from February 3-9, celebrates the positive impact apprenticeships have on individuals, businesses, the economy, and the community.
At Jones Bros we regularly take on new apprentices: we have recruited dozens of young people over several decades – employing more than 100 apprentices since 2016. As our civil engineering operations continue to expand across the UK, our apprentices have the chance to train on pioneering projects.
Our apprentices are fully supported with their training and career development, including learning skills at our bespoke training centre in Ruthin as well as across our sites.
We’ve recruited more than 100 apprentices since 2016 and many of them choose to stay and progress their career at Jones Bros, including three in Wigan helping to deliver the A49 project in their home town.
From support on site to experience getting to grips with plant machinery, our apprentices explain why they chose to start their civil engineering career with Jones Bros.
Our passion for apprenticeships and training is well known in North Wales, with more than 40 per cent of our current workforce progressing through our award winning scheme.
Our door is always open to those with the will to learn new skills in engineering, construction and more. If you don’t see a role that catches your eye, send us your CV so we know you’re interested.
